Here are the pictures I took sitting front row at Jean-Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show last month.
Circus chique is what I'd like to call this collection. With hair literally rising to new hights, Jean Paul Gaultier did not shy away from color nor print. The silhouettes are so dramatic - they look like they'll meow when touched - the perrrrrfect leopard print for this show was created by Odile Gilbert. Nothing cutesy here, it's all about female empowerment.
I can't call Gaultier's creations "clothes". They're masterpieces, works of art. Believe me, if you'll ever get the chance to see his work in real life, you'll never call JPG's creations "clothes" again.
Pictures by me.
